As the Executive Director of CNAM, Doug’s responsibilities include: the development, coordination and implementation of the Association’s Strategic Plans in conjunction with CNAM’s Board of Directors: Financial Management; Business Development; CNAM committee coordination; and oversight of the Administrative functions of the Association.
Doug is a senior executive with over 35 years of strategic planning, financial, operational and administrative experience. He has a proven track record of providing immediate contributions to the strategic success of the organization by combining financial expertise with an organized common sense approach to business. Doug has extensive experience serving on corporate Boards, including active participation on Audit Committees, Corporate Governance Committees, Environmental, Health and Safety Committees and Compensation Committees.
With respect to CNAM’s Strategic Planning process, Doug is responsible for assisting in the achievement of the Association’s Strategic Objectives. In conjunction with the Treasurer of CNAM, Financial Management activities include oversight and responsibility of financial reporting, banking, budgeting, accounting and cash management functions of the Association. Business Development strategies include researching new Association initiatives aimed at the long-term financial stability of CNAM.
Doug has also been recently appointed to the FCM MAMP Program Steering Committee whose mandate is to oversee MAMP, provide strategic guidance throughout the course of the Program, and address any major issues that may affect the implementation of activities.

Nzinga White is pleased to join the CNAM team, providing association management support and conference services for CNAM. The team is excited to help CNAM navigate their continued growth.
Nzinga is an Account Manager at Redstone Agency, a millennial-owned event and association management agency located on Toronto, ON. She manages a variety of small and large association clients at Redstone, supporting her clients with membership, marketing and sponsorship initiatives that provide measurable ROI and meet strategic objectives. She has planned and executed sold-out conferences, spearheaded innovative mentorship initiatives, led online portal vendor sourcing and implementation projects, developed meaningful board and committee relationships, and created process efficiencies leading to cost-savings of up to 50%.
As a leader on the Redstone team, Nzinga’s expertise includes integrated marketing, organizational communication, stakeholder engagement, media relations, and conference management. She is passionate about using coherent, engaging and targeted communication strategies to build trust within an organization’s sphere of influence. Nzinga believes in putting the client first by listening to their spoken and unspoken needs and finding creative solutions that maximize impact.
Nzinga is the 2018 recipient of the Donna Mary Shaw Award from the Canadian Society of Association Executives (CSAE). Recipients of this prestigious award are individuals in the not-for-profit sector with a passion for management and mentoring. She is currently working towards her CAE designation.
Conference Services Manager

Cynthia Marshall joins CNAM as its Conference Services Manager. Cynthia is a highly dependable and collaborative Event Manager at Redstone Agency with a Bachelor of Arts from University of Guelph and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Event Planning from Humber College. She excels under pressure and is dedicated to creating memorable and cost-effective events for her clients.
Cynthia brings a wealth of experience planning and executing events with a focus on large scale trade shows/consumer shows and conferences. Cynthia previously worked for two large international event corporations which provided her with the opportunity to manage shows across the globe.
Cynthia has been an active member of Canadian Association of Exposition Management (CAEM) and is currently working toward her CEM designation.
In her spare time, Cynthia enjoys exploring the city with her puppy and has also recently enrolled in Spanish classes.

As the Manager of Financial Services with Redstone Agency, Alexandra is passionate about process improvements, maximizing efficiencies, and challenging old ideas. By breathing fresh air into existing procedures, Alex has a proven track record of providing impactful, accurate and relevant financial reporting under strict deadlines, while maintaining a healthy team culture based on trust and respect.
Alex has acquired professional experience from a variety of industries, including playing key roles within the finance teams of a manufacturer, hedge fund administrator, and advertising agency. In her spare time, Alex is passionate about rowing, and has served several terms on the board of directors of her local rowing club. These experiences have developed her understanding of the needs of different types of organizations, and how to ask the right questions to ensure deliverables meet the needs and exceed the expectations of our clients. Alex is passionate about going to extra mile to provide outstanding customer service to our clients and partners.
Committed to lifelong learning, Alex loves reading, learning new technical skills, and enhancing her soft skills through a combination of formal education, professional development courses, and informal online courses. This continuous development continues into her personal life, as she has recently embarked on a life-long dream of learning to play the violin.

Amara ifeanyi-Okoro is pleased to join the team as CNAM’s Business Services Coordinator. She is currently an Account Coordinator at Redstone Agency, joining the team as a talented and creative individual who enjoys strategic planning in order to achieve the maximum possible ROI. She is constantly on a quest for personal and professional development and dedicates most of her time in finding new ways to improve efficiency.
Amara graduated from the University of Waterloo, with a major in Mathematics and a minor in Computer Science. While at university Amara developed strong critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills. Amara won the prestigious MESBURG award for her contribution to creating a marketing campaign that delivered a clear point of difference and demonstrated superior creative innovation.
Amara brings a diverse wealth of experience in event and project coordination. She is committed to contributing to her community, as she is involved with a number of non-profit organizations.
Amara also enjoys playing board games and going on road trips. She enjoys meeting new people, building relationships and investing meaningful time with friends and family.

Mira is CNAM’s new Financial Services Coordinator. She is currently an Accountant at Redstone Agency, and is a detail-oriented professional with a masters certificate in Accounting and bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She is an innovative and driven professional with over 12 years experience gaining knowledge in entertainment and leisure industry . She strives to learn new ways of doing things and takes on challenges that are sometimes out of her comfort zone.
Mira has strong interpersonal skills which gives her confidence when working with clients to help them achieve their financial goals. She leads by example and “rolls up her sleeves” to get the job done by finding solutions to what keeps others up at night. She focuses on delivering the best solutions and ideas with one vision in mind: success, success, success.
In her spare time, she loves to act as an interior designer by accomplishing small DIY projects such as remodeling or designing spaces.
